Mr. S. Narantsogt, Vice Minister of Economy and Development, met with Ms. Paramita Dasgupta, Manager East Asia Pacific, Regional Advisory at International Finance Corporation (IFC).
During the meeting, the parties exchanged detailed views on the good practices of implementing investment policies, incentives, and protection services to enhance the investment climate, expand the economy, improve the effectiveness of the foreign direct investment, and attract investment to target sectors, and agreed to collaborate closely on a number of projects to implement the good practices.
Vice Minister S. Narantsogt stated that the Ministry of Economy and Development will continue its close cooperation with the IFC to reform the investment climate, strengthen the institutional framework for investment promotion and protection, and develop a public-private dialogue, and will work actively to demonstrate results on “Mongolia-Investment Policy” project by IFC.
