Organized jointly by the Ministry of Economy and Development, the Investment and Trade Agency, the Governor’s Office of Uvs Province, and the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event aimed to stimulate economic growth and social development in the western region. It featured various sub-events such as business meetings, trade exhibitions, and the “Business Revival – Western Region Forum.”
Mr. Ch.Khurelbaatar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Development, Mr. Ch.Chimed, Governor of Uvs province, Ms. E. Bolormaa, Governor of Hovd province, Mr. Vasiliev Maksim Viktorovich from the Russian Federation’s Trade Mission in Mongolia, and Mr. Kislov Valery Aleksandrovich, Honorary Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, participated in the opening ceremony of the forum, delivering speeches and presentations. Approximately 300 entrepreneurs from regions such as Zavkhan, Hovd, Bayan-Olgii, and Uvs, as well as government officials and chamber delegates from Russian regions including Buriad, Tuva, and Altai, attended the event. Discussions revolved around topics like regional and cross-border trade, investment opportunities, business environment, government policies, and future development trends.
The event concluded with fruitful outcomes, fostering closer ties among western region provinces and neighboring areas, and promoting cross-border business and investment initiatives. It served as a crucial platform for enhancing economic cooperation and trade relations in the region.
